I confess that I haven’t used The Grocery Game in about a month. On the plus side, I really haven’t had to because we have such a stock pile of groceries that I got on sale. Yesterday I spent hours going through coupons, pulling out ones that are about to expire, and checking my list for this week.
One thing that really bothers me is that I subscribe to the local paper and they don’t have all the coupons that The Grocery Game tells me I can use. Of course, I didn’t find this out until after I had subscribed.
In case, you’re interested in saving 50% or more on your grocery bill, here are some of my pics on how I do this.

Here’s my list that I print out each week. The Grocery Game tells me which items are on sale, which week of the paper I can find the coupon, how much I will pay for the item with the sale and coupon applied, how much percentage I’m saving, and if it’s an item I should stock up on.

This is my handy dandy expandable file system. Since The Grocery Game tells you which week of the paper you’ll need the coupon from, I don’t clip the coupons until I need them.

I file the coupons into their own slot each week and I write the date on the front of that week’s packet.
It’s only $1 to sign up for a trial membership at The Grocery Game. Thereafter, it’s inexpensive. If you get people to sign up under you, then you can get free weeks. If you decide to join, please use my email address as your referral. knowhimwell at hotmail dot com. Thanks!
My other tackle for today was to list a giveaway at Thrifty Mommy. You’ll have to check it out. I’m giving away coupons for free chicken. Yum!
That’s Tuesdays tackle for me. I’m getting back on track with clipping coupons, stock piling, and saving money. What are you up to today?
